I was interested in a product from china - its only $10 and they accept paypal payments (this is not through ebay or anything though). For me i would be happy to risk $10 in the hope of receiving the product as this would not be any major loss - but can i lose more than the $10 i send. I guess i'm asking if the risk factor for me is a mere $10 or is it much worse - can they clean out my paypal account just by me sending them $10???

Often these resellers from China are in fact very reliable, postal delivery is often a bit slow but they generally post your goods on time it is in transit it gets lost, delayed, mis-directed or plain stolen and the seller always gets the blame!

I have dealt with many drop shippers in China and other parts of Asia and apart from the odd delay or damaged goods (the carriers fault) I have not had a problem yet with a seller not sending what I had paid for. Nearly all of them use PayPal for the convenience of it which does give you some recourse should things go wrong and as long as you don't send anyone your PayPal log in data then your account should generally be quite secure.

I get far more hassle from companies in this country (Spain) than I do ordering direct from the UK, the US and Asia.

No. I'm using their services for quite some time. There's enough security. If you there would be some kind of risk after you paid them, just change your password immediately after the transfer is made. As the seller is also a Paypal user, so should ask him/her to send you a Paypal invoice. This will help you to ask for refund in the case you don't receive the product. Whenever, you make transactions through your Paypal account you receive an email alert in your email. In case of any abnormal transaction you can immediately notify their fraud prevention team. Hope this info helps!

You never know what some people get up to. I would log on to my PayPal account and check regularly for any discrepancies. I would also be inclined to contact PayPal and see what they say about it. Good luck.

No... You should be safe. What's the site? I shop a few direct from China sites that are legit. Sometimes your order can take awhile to arrive, but I've never had a major problem.

$10 is all they can get, if they don't send it then just claim the money back with paypal
