My explorer.exe keeps closing and opening constantly. What do I ?

It keeps opening and closing and so my taskbar and desktop keep disappearing and reappearing. I've tried closing explorer.exe and starting it up again myself, but the same thing keeps happening, so I don't think restarting it will help. I've also restarted and completely turned off my computer for a while and started it up again. It just keeps happening.

It started after I tried downloading a music album off RapidShare. I never finished the download. Because it started doing this, I canceled the download early.

Anything I can do to keep this from happening anymore?

you wouldn't have got anything from rapidshare unless you opened it.



you have viruses. do a scan with avg free 8.0 and see what it finds. if you're using internet explorer, stop. get firefox, or anything else, but stop using IE.

It normally happens if a file you download does not match internet explorer so just restart your computer and look and the name of the player next time.

it happens to me before.. just do a scan in your pc, its probably a virus.
