firefox 3 untrusted security?

i need help. every time i browse a website. a message pops up saying the security is untrusted. firefox 3 says their security certificate is expired. i know its probably a easy fix and im not clueless to computers. how do i stop it from doing it?

plus after adding exceptions the website look terrible and sometimes unusable after continuing

Check your settings. Click Tools > Options, click the Advanced tab, click the Encryption tab, under Protocols use SSL 3.0, under View Certificates all tabs should be empty except Authorities which comes with many listings, Revocation Lists should be empty, under Validation the 1st box should be selected (Use the Online Certificate Status Protocol......) and the 1st choice under that also selected (Validate a certificate if it specifies an OCSP server) and the bottom box de-selected.



If all the above settings are correct & you still have problems, uninstall Firefox & get a fresh copy at:

http://www.mozilla.com/en-US/firefox/personal.html

Uninstall the older version of firefox...Try new version Firefox 3.6...This is more compatible and secure..Hope it won't let you down...
