If you have the Norton icon in the system tray at the bottom of the screen beside the clock you can right click the icon and a menue will pop up,click Enable Auto-Protect.If you don't have the icon beside the clock,left click on the Norton icon on your desktop and when it opens up,click options,a menue will drop down,click Norton AntiVirus and check Turn Auto-Protect on,check Start Auto-Protect when Windows starts up.You could also check Show the Auto-Protect icon in the tray.At least this works on my computer with Norton.If this doesn't work and if you just recently got Norton and didn't activate it it will work for awhile and then stop.It must be activated in order to keep working.If this doesn't work contact Norton.I hope this solves your problem.

i have the same problem with my sbc yahoo antivirus problem. first try restarting your computer. if that doesn't help, try uninstalling it and installing it again. if it doesn't work still, try contacting norton to see if they can help. good luck.

maybe it got athletes foot and it hurts him to run.
