trojandownloader:win32/renos.mq VIRUS I GOT IT HELP HELP HELP !!?

trojandownloader:win32/renos.mq I got that virus. i keep scanning it and removing it but it keeps coming up ! it says its severe! wtf do i do it keeps duplicating itself. i use microsofy secureity essential anti virus thingo aaaaawh someone help me and no im not downloading any new anti virus

Same thing happened to me. It would not allow me to run Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware and when I went to pandasecurity.com to do the free scan there, my PC crashed once it went to attempt to fix it. I have Windows Vista SP2. I'd suggest trying a System Restore, if you can. It's the only way I could get rid of it. Luckily, my computer made a restore point yesterday morning, before I opened the attachment that was supposedly a Powerpoint presentation. ouch, do you have a backup disc available cos it looks like you may need to use it in close future. Even if you do manage to delete it, it still could have damaged your system with other things. What security software are you using!



To be honest, I woudn't download anything else (.exe files especially) from the internet at the moment.
