Can't delete folder, need permission?

Using Windows 7, I'm the only one who uses this laptop, and always have been. I've had it for years and have been adding and deleting folders with no problem until now. Now it won't let me delete something, it tells me I need permission. I have clicked 'properties' and had a look but there is very little I am able to do. The boxes that say things like "full permission" are not clickable so I can't make any changes. I created this folder literally two days ago, it's just some pictures, why can't I delete it? What is this and how the hell do I fix it?

It could be that another program on the computer needs those files and they can not be deleted until that program has been deleted,Advanced System Care has a tool that deletes such files folders and programs that are difficult to remove

Boot into risk-free mode (restart your computing device and push F8 repeatability till the alternative arise) then run your virus scanner. this could take a whilst even yet it incredibly is going to help a minimum of somewhat.

if the folder contains any files that you are NOT the OWNER of(the USER that created them)

then you will not be able to delete the folder

you can TAKE OWNERSHIP of the files then you can delete them.

evry single file and folder copied onto NTFS knows which OWNER(USERname)

created it, and only they can delete them.

elevate yourself to ADMIN take ownership then they are yours.

restart your computer .... and use safe mode (keep pressing F8 untill a screen asks about safe mode) should work then
