why is my computer slow although i increase my ram, scan for viruses/spyware, and i only got few softwares....and by the way i got kaspersky internet security , ad aware 2007 pro, and spyware terminator

Just a bit of advice it is not necessary to have an ad ware and spyware protector if you have Internet security. It will definitely slow down your computer. The type of Internet security you are using may also slow down your computer, if you have windows vista I would suggest switching to AVG it doesn't slow down your computer a bit. Also you need to check how much ram you have, maybe you can upgrade your memory space if need be. But yeah try getting rid of the adware and spyware protection. If the type of internet security you have is a good one it should already cover that for you. Also try a disk defragment or disk cleanup that will clear up any unnecessary used space on you computer. if you have limewire or frostwire, it slows it down alot. and you can get tons of virus's off of it.
