my pointer mouse moves on weird directions when i use it...it controls itself..whenever i try to click on something it works for some time and then it goes up and down sometime right and left by itself...my remote assistance folder has a hand under it...and the templates folder and the cookies folder has files which are permanent and cannot be deleted no matter how much i try...does this mean that my laptop could be hacked?? i dont use any antivirus or a firewall....my laptop has a lot of virus...what do i do?? should i format my laptop?? i dont trust the people who are responsible for providing the internet, they tell me not to use norton, i keep seeing ip address conflict every now and then, i think they all r mixed...what do i do?

A hand under a folder means that its being shared out.

If your mouse is moving on its own, someone has control of your computer. Disconnect it from the internet, disable remote access, and unshare all shared folders.

Do you mean u want to share the folder but it not appear if you BROWSE the pc?? Ie \\pc1\ lets u see all shared?? If so Share the folder as MYFOLDER$ the $ at the end will make it invisible.... But to attach to the folder you MUST use the $ Ie net use \\mypc1\myfolder$ O.k???

you have a virus do a free online scan:

turn on your firewall & get a antivirus program.
