Help with Comcast and Mcafee?

Question

I have comcast and get free Mcafee with it. But, a lot of times it will say "computer not fully protected." I go to see what the issue says and it will say to verify my subscription and I do but it wont go away it still says not fully protected.
What is going on?

Mine used to do the same thing - it drove me nuts!! Do you have one of the "features" turned off? If so, that's why it's doing that. I always had the firewall off because my router AND windows each had them and having 3 resulted in major conflicts so I turned off McAffee's and Window's firewalls in favor of Linksys and constantly got error messages from McAffee because of it. We now have AT&T's UVerse - no issues whatsoever... and it's cheaper than comcast!
