In this last week, I've been having virus problems non stop. I've gotten rid of them, but whenever I try and shut my computer down, it says I'm running rundll.exe. I know Windows has this component naturally, but I think it's also harmful. How can I get rid of it? And how can I make my computer run fast again? Also, I have a Windows XP.

Scan your system with avast! and Ad-Aware. That should fix problems.

Also, when it comes to increasing speed, you want to have Windows clean up your computer (Start - Programs - Accessories - System Tools - Disk Cleanup). That should help give it a little speed.
