You need to download Malwarebytes and SuperantiSpyware both are free and very effective, once downloaded install and update both then run quick scans with each, remove anything they find and restart.

Finally install Avast Anti-Virus which is free and run a boot-time scan, it will remove viruses before they have a chance to start and thoroughly disinfect your computer.

You could download the 3 programs below from the computer you are on and take them to your computer then install them that way.

Keep Avast Anti-Virus installed to prevent you getting another virus in the future.

Avast Anti Virus:

SuperantiSpyware:

I suggest you take on Mr. Moo's advise. It seems like adware. Most of the sites that tells you of the viruses you have are all lies. It's not the virus but the antivirus program that's causing the problem. Malwarebites usually can solve it and is used by professionals you'd pay much for.

or

You can reinstall your windows program if your computer isn't working.

Ok here is what to do:

Download a Free copy of Avast home here - http://www.avast.com/free-antivirus-download

Install it, once you have done this it will as you if you want to run a check on bootup, select yes.

Upon boot up tell it to move detected files to chest (once prompted).

If this does not clear your issue try some more programs:

Spybot S+D here - http://download.cnet.com/Spybot-Search-amp-Destroy/3000-8022_4-10122137.html?tag=mncol

Malware bytes here - http://www.malwarebytes.org/

If your running xp remember to turn OFF system restore as many viruses can hide here, which antivirus programs do not always search. Once your computer is clean remember to turn this back on.

Still having trouble, keep pressing F8 while your system is booting up and load windows in safe mode, then run these programs again. If you have a nasty safe mode will not allow it to start up in safe mode as a service or process unless you tell it to.

If all else fails take it to a computer shop to have it fixed. REMEMBER TO TAKE BACKS OF YOUR FILES BEFORE YOU DO ANYTING.

Good luck.

You're simply going to must do a entire process repair (alterations settings again to while you first obtained it) As quickly as you flip in your laptop, hit F12 and comply with instructional materials. YOU MUST HAVE ORIGINAL DISCS it got here with so you'll be able to set up your customary methods or this is not going to paintings. If you critically don't have any clue...take it to a reputable. Depending in your place, ask round for strategies.

Your going to have to resuscribe to the anti spyware thing or just get a new computer. I would also suggest staying off questionable sites and not opening any spam mail, thats usually where they come from.

First of all it can be just stupid ActiveX plug-in, no real virus. But, to make sure, you can do an online scan. I would recommend http://www.eset.ie/onlinescan/ one.

Alternatively, you can download free Antivirus software from Microsoft from here: http://www.microsoft.com/Security_Essentials/
