Do I have a virus or just some Macromedia flash problem?

Question

Just went to use bbc i player and I noticed that the player was constantly at the top of the screen, and when I moved the scroll bar up it just went back down again.

I then checked my msn messenger friends list and it wouldnt allow me to scroll down. Is this a virus or just a Flash script problem?

You messed somehow the flash; reinstall it.

Probably not a bad idea to un-install your Flash player and install the latest version. Flash is very vulnerable to malicious exploits and the latest version is the safest. You need the special Flash uninstaller from Adobe:

If that doesn't cure it, try an on-line malware scan, e.g. NOD32 online scan: http://www.eset.com/onlinescan/

probably flash, try reinstalling your flash.
