Download this: http://download.bleepingcomputer.com/grinler/eXplorer.exe

Now delete these files:

%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\\

%UserProfile%\Local Settings\Application Data\\.exe

Go to run and type in "regedit" (without the quotes) and delete these entries:

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\avsoft

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\avsuite

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\avsoft

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\avsuite

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Download "RunInvalidSignatures" = "1"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\PhishingFilter "Enabled" = "0"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings "ProxyOverride" = ""

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings "ProxyServer" = "http=127.0.0.1:1041"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Associations "LowRiskFileTypes" = ".exe"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\Attachments "SaveZoneInformation" = "1"

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run ""

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run ""

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Internet Settings "ProxyEnable" = "1"

Now download Malwarebytes Anti-Malware and run a full-system scan and remove all infections found.

As you may have figured out, AV Security Suite is a virus itself. Not a real easy pest to remove but it can be done. But there is NO easy 1-click solution.

Scroll down that page at "Bleeping" to:

I had the same problem. This AV Security Suite got into my computer and started giving fake spyware alerts. And also it didn't allow me to open the command prompt, task manager, registry editor etc. I followed the instructions in the below link and successfully deleted it.

1. Disable proxy server, clean up hosts file and clean up dns settings. Here is a guide : http://www.2-viruses.com/how-to-fix-google-results-hijacker-google-redirect-virus-problem . This will allow you to connect to internet.

2. To stop AV Security suite processes, press ctrl+shift+esc and stop all processes with garbage names that are launched from your user account.

3. Then you can either download malwarebytes/spyware doctor or search on disk for these files and delete them.

They are ok, we use them for lots of companies simply because its easy to use and interface is clear, as they are on the network, all emails and files are normally scanned by the server so AVG doesnt have to do much anyway, but its easy on low spec hardware. AVG Internet Security has firewall and antispam, I use it on my own machine and its fine for the job
