Unknown user in my windows 7 network, help?

I discovered today there is an unknown user in my windows 7 network today. The pc is named "David-PC". How do I get rid of the unknown pc?

You are infected with boot virus and rootkit

Download Malware bytes from Malwarebytes.com and update and run and remove the viruses in show results after scanning.

If you are having Paid antivirus, i have no suggestion otherwise.

Download Avast from Avast.com update and run boot time scan available in it. You can easily find in the Scan menu. Boot time scan prevents any program from booting itself, Mark, Move this to chest when computer prompts you to how to deal with found virus,trojans etc

Uninstall your free av before downloading avast which is best and has many file secure features.

Download anything from secured sites, like majorgeek.com and file hippo

Reset internet explorer, by going to the internet option, advanced tab and click reset.Later u update

Since it's probably someone on your wireless, put a password on it or change the password. Use WPA/WPA2 if your access point is capable of it, and use a password that's long and hard to guess. You can also set a MAC filter to block that computer, but WPA/WPA2 is good enough to keep people out.



Don't worry about the answer saying you have a virus and rootkit, that answer has nothing to do with your question.

Change the security settings of your router

to do this you'll need a couple of things your ISP (internet service provider) and your device information through this you can contact your ISP and they can get you started finally once they have stepped you through what to do ask them how you can make your network invisible ^^
