As a start i recommend that you download Firefox as a browser instead of your explorer (if you use explorer)..... it is Much safer.

After you downloaded Firefox i would recommend that you download the programs, update them, run a FULL scan (one program at a time) and delete the infections...



start with Ccleaner (no need to update)

delete everything the program finds...

This will take alot of crap from your computer and will make the next scans much faster.

That's no problem you just got watch what you download look at the file size

If the file isn't big enough to be what you think it is then don't download it.



This is what you should do

Download SUPERantispyware and scan with it in safemode



if the pop-ups continue that means it might me smitfraud or vundo

So Download Smitfraudfix and it will get rid of it for sure

* Reboot your computer in Safe Mode (before the Windows icon appears, tap the F8 key continually)

* Double-click smitfraudfix.exe

* Select 2 and hit Enter to delete infect files.

* You will be prompted: Do you want to clean the registry ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter in order to remove the Desktop background and clean registry keys associated with the infection.

* The tool will now check if wininet.dll is infected. You may be prompted to replace the infected file (if found): Replace infected file ? answer Y (yes) and hit Enter to restore a clean file.

* A reboot may be needed to finish the cleaning process. The report can be found at the root of the system drive, usually at C:\rapport.txt

Run free spyware software such as Spybot (Google it) and, if using Internet Explorer, start using FireFox (Google that too) as there is less chance of getting problems like this as FireFox has better internet protection.

get firefox, disable javascript install a free AV and you should be safe.

if you need java because some of your regular sites arent working anymore. enable javascript ( but take care about rrestriction rules) and get some addons for firefox like adblockplus and noscript. so you should be on the safe side
