Mysterious Q drive appeared?

Question

On my computer (Vista), a mysterious Q drive appeared in My Computer, it says local disk.

While I was in Microsoft Office Word 2010 (Trial)'s Open dialog to get into my floppy disk, it said like App Qirt or App Virt or something like that, and it said 6.00 GB. Was this part of the trial?

I didn't partition my hard drive, so this is weird...

I recently installed VirtualBox, but I looked there after I installed it and it wasn't there, but now it is.

What is this? Am I infected or something?

I haven't looked inside it, so i don't know what it is.

That is most likely to be a virtual drive created by Virtual Box, see here from the manual:-



After you have created a new virtual machine with the “New Virtual Machine”

wizard of the graphical user interface, you will typically see one IDE controller in

the machine’s “Storage” settings where the virtual CD/DVD drive will be attached

to one of the four ports of this controller.
