I am using Avast! Home Edition, ZoneAlarm free edition, SUPERAntiSpyware Free edition and McAfee SiteAdvisor. Is that enough for full computer protection? If you know another program what is free and I can use it too for security please write it here.

that will surely give some decent protection, but will bog down your computer, with linux you don't need any protection which in turn you have a fast running pc, siteadvisor is good because it will warn you of sites that can install malware on windows machines, avast catches about 9 out of 10 viruses so it's not full proof, zone alarm is great but it can give lot's of false alarms, personally for firewall I recommend you delete zone alarm and get the free comodo version 2.4 from www.filehippo.com, the version 3 is just also full of lots of false alarms and very bad user interface, when I use to use windows I loved comodo 2.4 because it was easy to configure and had solid protection.

I can say these programs aren't enough , One of them may be enough " Of course anti-virus not anti spyware "

Simply using more than one anti-virus together isn't useful , it also may damage your computer .

I think you should one good anti-virus is more useful and also securer .

I recommend using Mcafee only , Kaspersky only or ESET only .

And If you use the Internet much and browsing pages you don't know enough you should use an Internet Security program .

I also want to mention that choosing an anti-virus now isn't basic so that you would see people recommend a pogram and others recommend another ,, and also there isn't an anti-virus that can detect all virus ,,

Sorry for going on so long

you use a decent antivirus running all the time. The other programs you run when you feel like it.

have a look at this one

Go to FileHippo.com and type Avira AntiVir 9 in the search.

Go to you tube to see it in action.

This antivirus has a feature where it works when you boot so it captures malware before it starts up.

No because I think the last two programs you mentioned is not for full time computer protection because they are just free editions. Try buying the Full or Professional Version of the two last programs to get full time computer protection. But I think your computer is protected enouh with these programs. Just try to scan your computer every now and then for viruses, spyware and the like.

Hi,

That'ss great in my opinion. You have the whole pack.

-Anti-Virus

-Anti-Spyware

-Firewall

-Web safety

I really can't suggest anything else but i recommend not installing anotheranti-viruss since they both may startconflictingg with each other.

just trust on one software. installing softwares of different products will mess things up. and moreover they do not support each other
