I think I just installed a spyware? How doomed am I?

So, i recently installed a program called Twitterhack2012 (not for evil reasons, I may add) from a this site: twitterhack012.tk

after trying it out.. i realized that it just keeps on giving out the same passwords for every user name i type in.. plus it worked even without a connection. therefore, i knew it was just a hoax.

It was a very good joke, actually, but i kept thinking that it might have been a spyware or something... any thoughts? my system works fine but i'm not sure if i
accidentally gave them permission to my pc..

Run MalwareBytes and SuperAntiSpyware. They are free. I've used them many times and they are good at removing stuff.

if you think you installed something, check Uninstall or change a program in Control Panel on Win7, or Add/Remove in CP on WinXP... Also, you can check your register, by typing RegeDit in Search. After opening type the name of the program in the FIND tab... You can do a virus/spyware scan with your program, just in case something got infected...
