I am not interested in your 10 points.

I do this for a living

Trojan viruses get their name because they contain many other enemies within.

How you got it is irrelevant.

You cannot get rid of it without wiping your hard drive.

Malwarebyte, Spybot, and many other programmes are great for detecting and preventing viruses and other PUPs, not so good at removing them.

1. Back up all your data. Do not back up anything to do do with Windows or any drivers, DLLs or executable files. Only data. Do it to a separate hard drive, cd/dvds, anything that you know is clean.

2. Wipe your hard drive. Do you know how to F-Disc a drive? If not, find out!

3. Re-install Windows or some other operating system.

4. Install a decent firewall and AV programme. Please do not tell me that you only had Windows Firewall installed.

5. Install your data and and other guff that you want.

There are thousands of guys out there willing to help. I do this every day of the week for mugs who pay me to do exactly as as I have suggested here,.

Hello. My name is Sanjay Patel, and I currently hold an honorary Master's degree in the field of Computer Science. I am aware of, and have personal knowledge related to your question. There are computer maintenance businesses which are probably in your area, however they come at the cost of hiring a professional to enter your home. There may also be some local destinations where you can drop off your computer and wait to have a technician look at it. These options can often be costly, and pretty inconvenient. The answer to this question can probably be found doing a little extra research on Google.

A well-running computer can be a hard thing to maintain. From my experience, there is but only One software which is reputable- and consistently reliable for healing sick, slow computers. Reimage™ - https://reimagefix.im is a world-renown, easy to use software designed by Forensic scientists and made for the average person. This thing will fix literally just about ANY problem you could possibly be having with your PC. Reimage was recommended to me by a Professor during my 2nd year of Graduate school

Download and scan with Malwarebytes and/or SUPERAntiSpyware. Cheers!

Malwarebytes and SUPERAntiSpyware are the best anti-spyware applications available (you can have more than one). Other free anti-spyware programs would be Spybot Search & Destroy, Adaware, AVG Anti-spyware (formally Ewido), A-squared, Spyware Terminator and SpywareBlaster.

If you do not have an updated anti-virus program always running, you need to get one. Install only one, but you can get AVG, Avast! or AntiVir for free.

Running virus removal programs in Safe Mode (tap F8 as the computer boots up and choose to boot to safe mode) can be more effective. The idea behind the Safe Mode is that the operating system would only load your essential programs and drivers to the memory and hence there is a “high” chance that the virus-infected file is on the drive but not loaded into memory.

I strongly recommend using Firefox as your primary Web browser, It is safer and beter than Internet Explorer. Get the add-on NoScript for Firefox to prevent click-jacking. The AdBlock Plus extension will allow you to surf virtually ad-free.

Turn off system restore all together - it slows down your PC.

Use Avira for anti-virus software http://www.free-av.com/ its the best and uses little system resources.

Run these two programs to clean up temp and cache files

CCleaner http://www.ccleaner.com and Cleanup! http://www.stevengould.org/index.php?opt...

Then rid your system of spyware and malware with these:

Get Malwarebytes Anti-Malware http://www.download.com/Malwarebytes-Ant... Its a small free download and scans very quick and removes all sorts of nasty spyware and malware.

Also use Spybot http://www.download.com/Spybot-Search-am... Its free also but takes longer to scan. Also when done scanning reboot and do the Immunization it will prevent alot of these problems from ever coming back.

After using these programs your PC should speed up quite a bit and be very stable and infection free.

Also use Firefox http://www.getfirefox.com and install the Adblock Plus http://adblockplus.org/en/installation popup blocker for safer and faster browsing than Internet Explorer can offer.

If you install Firefox after Immunizing with Spybot you need to re-immunize to apply extra protection on top of the already solid Firefox.
