Hi,

Most spyware masquerade as anti-spyware! You are obviously infected with spyware and adware. Until you get rid of it DO NOT use your credit card or log into your bank account using your computer. Try this:

1. Download Spybot S&D from http://www.download.com/3000-8022_4-10401314.html . Install it,

2. Download Ad Aware SE Personal from http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2007/3000-8022_4-10701900.html?tag=lst-0-1

Don't run them just yet. Boot windows to safe mode (press and hold F8 key on boot).

Run both of these programs here. Remove all adware and spyware entries.

To ensure you don't get hit by malware again, I suggest you download a good free antivirus like Avast! or free AVG. You may also want to download a good free firewall like Comodo.

Hope this helps!

Yup, new updates from Microsoft go crazy every time you get the slightest of Spyware. To avoid getting this messages simply run an antivirus and antispyware program. AVG, and AdAware are perfectly fine free programs to use :).

To prevent future events you should download a firewall too, this will prevent a lot of viruses/spyware from entering your computer in the first place, and can protect against unwanted requests (trojan case)

To use any of the files.

1. Save the installer to a location you will remember

2. Open the file location, double click on the installer.

3. Run the install program

4. Restart your computer

5. Open the application via, start - all programs.

6. Run a virus/spyware scan through the program.

P.S. While your computer is infected with spyware it will come up with random messages telling you to download this and that, but you need to avoid anything which pops up and says click here to remove this threat. Its highly pointless and is most likely loaded with more problems.

Good luck :)

I hate those things. Pretty much its just a virus/spyware that is on your computer, and its giving you messages about there being some sort of spyware adware junk that needs to be removed (talking about itse;f) Then advertising something that will get rid of it in order to swindle you out of 50$.

Get lavasoft personal spyware - Install it, press scan, wait for it to scan, if anything pops up just hit delete threats or quarantine threats or something of the sort. It should get rid of it. If it doesnt, then youve got a virus, in that case you need to do this. Google "AVG FREE ANTIVIRUS" download it, scan your computer, delete all the threats you get, problem should be solved but whatever you do dont click on the adds that pop up it could potentially download more harmfull programs to your computer.

Hope i helped.
