How do i delete locked files on mac?

Hi i am trying to delete files on my mac that are locked but it will not disappear from my trash bin. I have tried 'info' and unlock but i cannot do that either. Can somebody please explain to me how to do that.Thaaaaaaank You.

You can't delete a locked file on a Mac. You have to unlock it then delete it.

Hold down the shift key or option key when clicking on "empty trash". If that doesn't work, restart the Mac and try it. if that doesn't work, then you may be deleting required files.

simply by fact it is in a USB, your superb guess could be to wipe it clean. Use Disk utility (it is integrated with the mac). whilst it is open, in basic terms elect your USB from the checklist on the left, and choose the erase determination. ;P
