Question:
How can I get rid of websites' country redirect option?
?

Whenever I try to enter (for example) www.google.com, the address automatically changes to my local country (let's say it becomes www.google.co.jp). This happens in every possible website where they have an optional local website. But when I type google.com, I want google.com, not google.co.jp! My OS is installed in English but I had to choose my local options in order to use my keyboard efficiently.

So how I can stop this redirect thingy?

Thanks

You can use a VPN, or virtual private networking service, if they have servers inside the United States. That will fool web sites into thinking that your computer is in America and allow you to access the American versions of Google, Yahoo, etc. and also let you watch video on sites like Hulu and Netflix that you currently cannot in other areas of the world. Most VPN services are paid services, but there are a few free ones out there.

Your internet speed will be reduced slightly, because they way a VPN works is that your computer connects to the VPN server via a highly secure "tunnel" connection, and when your PC requests data from the Internet or sends data to it, it all goes through the VPN server. So to web sites your location will be detected as wherever the VPN server's physical location is. As far as the sites know your computer is their server. This is also a very nice service to use because all your Internet traffic is encrypted to a a very level such that not even hackers can snoop into it.

There are free VPN services out there. I use a paid one, but before signing up I used a free one for a couple of weeks, I believe it was called TheFreeVPN.com. Yes, I found it:

You just install the VPN client, a small program which communicates with their servers, then choose to connect to one in the USA. Not all the servers were available all the time, and there were some times when none were available, which was irritating and why I chose to go with a paid service. But try this one or another free VPN service -- it should allow you to do what you are trying to regarding the web sites.

Google has a link at the bottom of the screen that lets you get Google in English.

Other than that, you need to access Web sites through a proxy so that they cannot see where you are by your IP address. You may also have to change your country options in the OS, since these are communicated to Web sites that you visit. Either method may be necessary, depending on how the Web site is determining your location.

Google Australia doesn't have a link at the bottom to change language and neither does the UK site but you could use their addresses and I'm pretty sure that will take you to those sites directly:

http://google.co.uk

EDIT:

I don't suggest you use thefreevpn:

do you have google toolbar ?

if so, on the right side of the screen/toolbar you will see an "wrench" icon,i.e "tools" click it..

then on search tab, click the "Use google SIte" , you will be shown all the countries.

choose which country. United States of America. com ,,if so>>>

restart your browser, if google not your homepage, search google then click the options to make your homepage..
