most virus are spread through IE. IE is not a safe browser. you should use a more secure browser to protect your PC from virus.

i recommand you to use firefox with Google toolbar. firefox can block any any popup and disable any virus and adware, spyware on webpage, so, firefox is much safer than IE browser. as you know, most of virus spread throught internet and webpage.

besides, firefox is much smaller than IE, so it run faster than IE.

download firefox for free, Just have a try:

.

Get AVAST

You don't know the source of the infection

and so it keeps coming from the same place.

You need a anti-virus that warns you BEFORE

virus completes downloading.

Then not only can you immediately delete it BEFORE infection, you will be able to determine the source, and notify or block that "sending" source.

1. Remove what you have now. It didn't do right did it? Dump it

2. Go to Control Panel > Add/Remove Programs and delete the anti-virus program you have now,

if you have one;

then use your Search feature, type in the name of your current anti-virus program

if you have one > right click and delete any instance it finds.

Get FREE Home version of an excellent anti-virus software = AVAST

http://avast.com/eng/avast_4_home.html....

Install > run > do a thorough scan

and allow it to run on your computer all the time.

Whatever it finds > select DELETE

The annual registration and frequent updates are free

AND automatic too.

For an excellent free anti-virus:

I like AOL AntiVirusShield. Don't let the name AOL fool you. AntiVirusShield is made by Kaspersky which is one of top-rated anti-virus vendors in the world.

In recent tests, the most popular free anti-virus, AVG, was only able to detect about 82% of a very large sample of viruses. On the other hand, AntiVirusShield was able to detect better than 99% in the same test.

http://www.virus.gr/english/fullxml/default.asp?id=82&mnu=82

AntiVirusShield has excellent virus detection rates and is extremely light on using your computer resources. (6mb)

And it updates 15 to 20 times a day with new virus definitions, 7 days a week.

Free to anyone, AOL member or not from:

Do yourself a favour and spend the few £ to buy Symantec norton Systemworks , install it and update it and than run a full system scan on your system. I am in software/hardware for about 25 years and AVG is only fit for the bin as far as i am concerned, as i have never ever seen this program catch anything except a bug itself.

Because AVG is up the top with the other bad anti virus programmes alongside NORTON.

These anti virus's warn you when you have a virus in your pc and not before like AVAST does.

I suggest you download AVAST free.

Hello there Dude,

Make sure your definitions are up to date. ALL antivirus programs are only as effective as the latest definitions. Just like flu vaccines. You can not get a shot 10 years ago and expect it to work now.

Virus definitions are updated sometimes daily. If your subscription has run out, you may not be able to get new definitions.

Goto this site and see if they can help you scan and remove them.

http://housecall.trendmicro.com

Then, if it works, download a FREE, yes FREE antivirus program call AVAST. http://www.avast.com. It is FREE for home use and really works well.

Get Comodo Antivrius, XoftSpy, CounterSpy and Outpost Firewall Pro. This mix has been great for me.
