How do I stop a hacker spamming people in my address book?

I have had bounce backs from people in my address book how have received spam emails from my address from Canadian Pharmacy, a site I have never visited and I don't recall receiving any emails from them either.

Are you using an online mail provider, like Gmail, Yahoo! mail, or Hotmail?



Change your password. Use a "strong" password, containing a mix of letters and numbers. Nothing appearing in the dictionary.



Spammers have been breaking passwords in the various online providers.

Depending on your email provider, you could block the address sending you emails... but that might only work temporarily.
