The best way to deal with this situation is to try installing both. Avg is good antivirus and spyware whereas norton has good protection from adware hackers etc. If u can't install them both at the same time (it does happen on some computers) then you should wait untill your norton antivirus expires and it asks you to start paying for it then install avg, you won't have to pay a cent and it provides more or less the same protection.

Maybe this can help you...I have tryed Norton Internet Security 2007 and many other payed virus programs...It's not that Norton and others are not good....The Best payed virus program is

CA Internet Security Suite Plus....I also had Verizon/Yahoo and there program sucks compaired to the one i just told you about...If you want two free sites which you can find at least 2 programs on both sites to help you protect your computer

The only thing that can protect your computer from adware, spyware, or viruses is yourself. No program out there will prevent you from overriding your computer's security and install something that looks safe and isn't. Never install anything from an unknown publisher unless you feel sure it is safe. Most safe programs are put on c/net download.com and are checked for those types of problems...
