Every time I run my virus scan I get a report that says I have 1 malware called Trojan.Win32.Inject.hrj , however, I can't seem to find anything online to tell me how to get rid of this. All I find is discussion groups asking if this is a false positive? So, how do I get rid of this pain in the hard drive?

To find out whether is it a false positive.

You upload the file to this web site http://www.virustotal.com/

Virustotal is a service that analyzes suspicious files and facilitates the quick detection of viruses, worms, trojans, and all kinds of malware detected by antivirus engines.

It use different anti-virus programs to scan the file.

If more than one anti-virus programs detect the file as virus.

Then it is not a false positive.

However, if only one anti-virus program detect it as virus. It may be a false positive.

Trojan is one of the most dangerous risk ever.

First of all update ur anti virus (online update)

Then check if ur antivirus has the capability to remove Trojans( Trojan is different from virus but is more dangerous)

Best anti virus would be from Norton ...
