I downloaded Mcafee security but pop up silt coming on what do I do?

Depends on how seriou the pop ups are. If they come on frequently without visiting too many web sites, you would need spyware removal as suggested before, Adaware & Spybot. AVG does a decent job of scanning both viruses and spywares.



If you just don't want pop up at all, you should check out browsers like IE 7, firefox, and opera, all of which can block pop-ups when visiting web sites.

i think u need to scan ur computer in a safe mode go start/run then type msconfig choose general box and check diagnostic then re start ur computer and run the scan antivirus "" be sure that the antispayware is enabled in Mcafee ..choose configure /computer and file / then enable the spayware

I had mcafee and was told it was a load of rubbish so i now have avg.

i had macfee and i got rid of it.. i got nortons and all that pop stuff stopped.
