as long as you are connecting to the internet you should be able update your antivirus. Unless the internet cafe blocks the website your antivirus connects to, to update.

If you don't have an Internet connection on your computer, why should you worry, You will not get infected because you're not and cannot surf the web without the Internet connection. About your Anti Virus, How can you auto update it in the Internet cafe when the program is on your computer?

Yes, as long as your connected the antivrus program can be updated...from any location.
