XP Antispyware 2009 is a rogue anti-spyware program that displays false and exaggerated scan results. Thankfully, though, there is a totally free way to remove this program.

Please visit this page and follow the guide in order to fully remove this program and any related malware:

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/malware-removal/remove-xp-antispyware-2009

Please note that many of the answers to your question state that you should download and install Xoftspy or Spyhunter. Both of these programs only scan your computer and do not remove anything for free. They are only being shown in order for the poster to make a commission. Instead only use programs that do not require you to purchase them in order to remove found infections. The guide above includes a program that will remove this infection entirely for free.

I think your are looking for this answer:

"Insecure Internet activity. Threat of virus attack" is a fake warning alert that appears as an interstitial ad page. "Insecure Internet activity. Threat of virus attack" alert was disened by Trojan Zlob creators. They are showing this type of message usually after fake video codecs instalation. If user clicks on "Insecure Internet activity. Threat of virus attack" fake warning message, hi will be directed to a rogue antispyware promoting websites. Thise websites will try to trick user into purchasing the "full" version of a rogue anti-spyware program that they are promoting. "Insecure Internet activity. Threat of virus attack" messages looks like this:

"Reported Insecure Browsing: Navigation blocked.

Insecure Internet activity. Threat of virus attack

Due to insecure Internet browsing your PC can easily get infected with viruses, worms and trojans without your knowledge, and that can lead to system slowdown, freezes and crashes.

Also insecure Internet activity can result in revealing your personal information.

To get full advanced real-time protection for PC and Internet activity, register WinSpywareProtect.

We recommend you to protect your PC now and continue safe Internet browsing.

So "Insecure Internet activity. Threat of virus attack" fake message is designed to trick user into buying rogue anti-spyware programs like WinSpywareProtect and Antivirus 2008.

Delete "Insecure Internet activity. Threat of virus attack" as soon as possible!

Yes antivirus 2008/2009 is a nasty little spyware program. Go to www.download.com and get AVG and Spybot search and destroy and malbytes malware remover and they are free for home use and run all 3 and it will get rid of the nasty bugger. I have cleaned over 15 computers in the past 2 weeks of people that have had the same problem. Thanks

Antivirus XP 2009 IS a CONFIRMED VIRUS. I got it before (Antivirus 2008) and my notebook got problems after that. Try getting Notron Internet Security. It always block the attack. Tested and confirmed

Aside from removing what's been already installed on your system, you really should turn off 3rd party cookies. this keeps un-requested cookies (those pop-up's) from being displayed in your browser.

In browser (both IE and Firefox) go to Tools>Internet Options>Privacy>Advanced; here check 'Override automatic....' 'Allow session cookies' 'Allow 1st party cookies' & Block 3rd Party Cookies.

Junk embedded into your system will have to be extracted with Spybot, Ad Aware, and all available cleaners. Good luck.

you have received m any answers telling to use spybot , or avira free edition , and many oter free editions of anti viruses .

but i will tell you they are of no use , they do not even detect trojans

you will have to to buy the premium versions of anti viruses which will cost you some dollars .

if you want them for free go to www.dl4all.com register their and you download any no. of premium antiviruses ,or anti-spywares,etc...

definitely check it and your problem will be solved.

see if avira is givin you it for free this means that it is not fully loaded so forget about the free editions and get the premium versions for free.
