Hi, I have a router set up in order to connect two desktop and also for my laptop could get to internet wireless. and the online service i used is verizon DSL, what I want to know is if someday I have to reinstall/recovery my computer, after doing so, do I have to configure my router again like the first time I do? If I have to, then I just need to configure the Router or I also have to configure my DSL modem? I ask this because actually the line of the DSL modem is connect to Router, and then router connect to PC, and when configure the router, i am asked to type in my user name and password of my DSL services, so i am wondering, is it necessary to configure the modem first, then configure the router after.
