Hijack this log below first an explanation

Info on problem. For awhile I was noticing my PC was starting to really slow up, next thing you know web pages were refusing to load in firefox or IE. Now neither work(using opera temporarily which is also starting to act wonky). I also have gotten a blue screen of death or two....which I hadnt seen in years before this. And finally lots of random programs like Windows Media Player and Winamp are starting to crash for no reason at all. I think its from visiting a single porn site which i thought was safe(yes I know I am stupid)....but now my kaspersky shows several attacks and another thing I tried showed numerous files from that site that were a problem. My own stupid fault I know! Kaspersky doesnt seem to be doing its job well and iv had it run numerous tests but none of them seem to turn up anything(few turned up weird stuff it refused to let me delete or qurantine).

I am desperate for help, if anyone knows what the problem might be or possible solutions I would appreciate any and all help. I figured a hijack this log is a good way to go but if there could be a different/better way of going about things just let me know! Thanks!

The reason the computer gets slow is due to the registry files becoming corrupted, or messed up, in simple terms. These files tell the computer or laptop how to operate the software installed on the system. If any of these files get messed up, the computer is not sure what to do and this will really slow down the computer. The other scenario is where you download other software, screensavers, pictures, videos, or even music, and this will somehow change the settings on a registry file. When this happens, the original program that needs that file now has the wrong instructions in it. So, it will cause the computer to run slow, or in a worse case, crash.

You can speed up your computer with a thorough analysis and repair of your registry. The registry Scan will identify corrupt files, paths, and registry keys causing your computer to have errors and run slow.Go to http://www.registry-bot.com to download registry bot.It is the most advanced and comprehensive registry repair product on the market. It will speed up your computer and make windows startup faster.

(Windows XP and 2000 ONLY. If you are running a different version of Windows, skip this step and start at the next paragraph) Download SmitFraudFix and restart your computer in safe mode. Once in safe mode, disable System Restore, and run the program, running options 2,3, and 5. Then restart your computer in normal mode. Now make sure that you have an up to date antivirus program (If you don't, install Avira AntiVir Personal. It has considerably higher detection rates than AVG, and marginally higher detection rates than Avast!. If you have one that has expired, uninstall it with RevoUninstaller and then install Avira AntiVir Personal). I would also recommend that you use ThreatFire, Spyware Doctor Starter Edition, and Comodo Firewall (Just like with the antivirus above, you should only have ONE firewall). Once they are installed, disable System Restore and do full scans with all of them. If you need any extra help, feel free to send me a message on Yahoo Messenger and I can walk you through it or help you some more.

Grab a copy of the world's # 1 Virus protection

Nod32 - probally better to use the Eset Smart Security though (nod32 included).

Whens the last time you cleaned up your registry?? That will cause you PC to freeze and crash alot...try RegCure.

Try Diskeeper Pro 2008 to defrag your PC.

If after running all that and you still have issues then reinstall the windows operating system by using the Windows Operating System disk and reboot your PC while it is in the CD/DVD tray

Try using a different anivirus, even a trial version. Everyone knows Kaspersky is effective, but all antiviruses have some shortcoming. Maybe McAffee or avast! will help..

You can try one of the following, you can do a system restore a disk defrag or you can download this program

Adware SE Pro(http://www.download.com/Ad-Aware-2008/3000-8022_4-10045910.html?part=dl-ad-aware&subj=dl&tag=top5&cdlPid=10903602)
