which port does Emule use?
Just know this.
Go to firewall & then click exception. Add this port into exception
Just try it.

The user chooses which ports emule will use.
From preferences -> connection is where ports used are listed.
Open these ports, usually 4662 tcp, and 4672 udp on the firewall.
How you do this depends which firewall you have, but at a guess i would say you would need to set up some sort of port forwarding

Turn off your firewall then connect to emule then turn firewall back on, your firewall will then ask if you wish to allow the connect to emule tick yes.

Right click on your connection icon, choose "change windows firewall settings".On the tab that says "Exceptions" click "add program" browse to emule and add it. Important - Make sure the don't allow exceptions box is left unchecked on the general tab

go into your firewall settings were it gives you the option to select what goes outbound and what comes inbound . you will see emule as blocked just click it to unblock and thats it

go to firewall settings and i think you can specify which things to allow and deny.

turn off firewall untill your conected...do this by going into security centre.
