Question:
Does Anonymizer (Anonymous Surfing) work on Browser Info or does it work on ALL internet traffic, in & out?

I'm wondering if Anonymizer, Anonymous Surfing™ https://www.anonymizer.com/consumer/products/anonymous_surfing/ hides your IP Address ONLY through Browser Traffic or if it hides your IP Address when using P2P software such as VUZE as well?

There are ALL KINDS of LEGAL uses of P2P but since it has the reputation for bad dl's, I'm worried about people watching what I do even though I'm not doing ANYTHING WRONG.

(It is no one's goddamned business what I do online)

So does anyone know how Anonymizer (Anonymous Surfing) works? Is it JUST browser traffic that is encrypted or is it ALL internet traffic, in and out of my computer?

I can't remember if Anonymizer does or does not, it's been years since my subscription lapsed. Checkout TOR though as a free alternative.

i think all these type of products use proxies to hide your real IP. the problem i found with using one of these type of products is finding good proxies that work. in my opinion the time you spend just looking for good proxies, is more of a headache then what is worth. so anymore, i could really give a rat's *** what anyone sees what i am doing online.

Anonymizer doesn't work on P2P.

Why not use http://hotspotshield.com/ instead? It's a free VPN service.

Also you can use web proxy such as

http://atunnel.info

http://a2p.org

More free web proxy can be found here: http://topplist.info
