Try a combo of Avast, Malwarebytes & Spybot-Search&Destroy (all free), & can be downloaded directly from filehippo.com (saves time). Good luck

If you are talking about free anti virus avast is one of the best. If you are talking about paying for more protection. Norton 2009 is cheap and has good protection for the money.

The best anti virus software comes free in the security updates for Mac OS X. Nearly six years and still no viruses or spyware affecting Macs in the wild! That's good software.

I've used avast! for years and have never had a problem with viruses. A friend of mine had a virus and I advised her to install avast! and it found and deleted the virus for her. It's a free program for virus prevention and detection.

Get Norton, ESET or Kaspersky if you can afford it. Otherwise, try Avira Anti-Vir free.
