Question:
computer infected with Malware?

I'm not sure where the malware came from. I was at SciFi.com when my computer rebooted without being prompted... guessing it was a delayed reaction.
After being rebooted, thinking windows was only acting strangely I received a "keep blocking" notification from windows, informing me it could not continue to block spyware.ISpyNow. I have never used ISpyNow, I'm an Avast kind of guy.
I tried to get on the internet to look up what ever that was, but received a notification from my homepage that my computer was at risk from a virus. Figuring that this too was a trick, I tried to go around only for firefox to crash every time. eventually it wouldn't open at all, so I switched users. now both mozilla and IE run, but I am redirected constantly.
I got here by copying exact addresses into the URL bar. I've brought down my removable hard drive to run avast, thinking the driver on this computer would probably be infected. It hasn't found anything yet, and I got no success from searching windows for things containing the term ISpyNow, or by hand. If you know the problem please help out.

You need to download, install and up date SuperAntiSpyware and MalwareBytes. But you need to do a full scan with both of them in safe mode. If you can not download or install them because of the malware on your COMPUTER. Start in safe mode with Internet and download and install MalwareBytes. Super can not be installed in safe mode. Hopefully you then will be able to install super and run a scan. Now for the bad news since your computer rebooted you probably have a very bad nasty on it. Even without knowing what got on your computer, I would say reformat is a strong possibility. You should also run a safe mode scan with Avast. Now you must download Hijackthis copy the log and paste on one of the forums that will help you with the log. Do not delete anything your self. Computer hope is just one of the sites Bleepingcomputer. com is another.

Do not use your computer for banking or buying anything.

ISpyNow is a commercial PC surveillance application that tracks user and computer activity, logs all keystrokes, records passwords and addresses of visited web sites. Gathered data is presented to the remote person controlling the software using a web-based interface. One other thing check in add and remove programs and see if anything fishy is there. If you find ISpynow uninstall

DDD You are getting it. You could also try an anti-rookit I'll give you a link to two the first one is pretty easy to use the second one is more for the advance user. So be careful with it http://www.download.com/Panda-Anti-Rootkit/3000-8022_4-10717196.html

Hello there.

I just read your question and that's also difficult to think what I can say to help you.

If I was on your place I will search by free tools online to help you remove malicious software that you have probabbly install it.

Just like you sad, you don't have sure what kind of threat is, so, can be difficult in some cases to identify what kind of object is.

In order to resolve the issue, per'haps if you make a full system scan to try find some malicious software on your computer.

If that doesn't work, if you create a new account, or use the Administrator account or even the Guest account, and surf the internet looking for free tools from a trusted antivirus Corporations, and then make a full scan to try find some malicious objects.

My personal recommendation for you is per'haps the free tools from Avira AntiVir that you can download from the website.

Before you make the download from the website, you should have sure about what kind of threat is in order to fix the problem.

If you don't have sure, the best think to do will be per'haps make the download of the tool you think that's the correct on.

Thank you for reading.

Take Care.

Spybot-Search & Destroy (Spybot-S&D) is a popular malware,

spyware and adware removal program, which is free.
