Question:
Desktop Defender 2010, having trouble?

Hi! I've already asked this question about 2-3 days ago. Sorry to annoy with the same thing! Anyway, I received a lot of good help and resources from very kind people. After not being able to get access to my desktop, or even being able to open the task-manager to kill the process, I received an answer from a helpful person who gave me an alternative method, which worked (thank you)! I got through to my desktop and was ready to follow the steps to the manual removal guides plastered all over the net for this particular virus.

I thought everything would be okay, until another pop-up from the virus decided to, pop up. This time, it was a smaller window telling me that "Desktop Defender 2010 has disabled these programs from blablahblah", something of the sort. The problem with this now, is that it disabled me, once again, from gaining access to my internet, my start menu, and everything else, BUT the task-bar. The manual removal sites list the associated process' from this virus, however, while looking down the list in my task-manager, I was unable to find ANY of the process' listed on the helping sites. Is it perhaps that the virus has changed it's file names in order to hide more efficiently?

Basically, I'm stuck again. I can't download any virus removing programs, or even just browse the net at all, because this darn thing is disabling everything.

Any ideas of what can be done? Anything, I would highly appreciate, as always!

If it helps, I have Windows Vista on my infected laptop. Right now I am using another computer to access internet and get any kind of help!
Thank you very much for reading, and I hope you may be able to help me!

if you can get to your start tab try this( if not leave a post and i'll tell you how to do it) click start, click accessories, click system tools, click system restore, in system restore choose a date like 2 months ago or more, system restore will then shut down and restart on its own, do NOT click any pop ups that come up as its shutting down , for instance nortan or yahoo or desktop defender itself or anything like that , it might take 15 minutes to shut down but it will shut down and restart on its own, when it restarts you wont have the desktop defender 2010 on your computer because you have reset your computer to a earlier date before you ever had troubles. if you get a prompt that it cant be restored to a certain date just choose a different date. it worked on 2 of my computers and i just did it today on 1. oh and another thing if you let that scan run on desktop defender it just corrupts and adds more virus to computer so click stop. if this doesnt work leave a post and i will try to help you threw it, good luck!!

attempt updating secret agent ware physician past scanning. it is going to do away with private laptop defender. although, Malwarebytes anti-malware is robust software besides. you should ought to disable own laptop defender approaches till now launching the test however, because it blocks anti-malware classes each each so often. to realize this, launch activity supervisor splendid after reboot (ctrl+shift+esc) and supply up all approaches that ought to not be there.
