ISP user name and password?

i tried to connect my new vista x2 HPTX touch screen lap top to the internet no luck requires ISP user name and password before connection to internet please help get my details.

Call your ISP, they will fix that issue.

However, your descriptin suggests you are connecting direct from your computer to the Internet, without a router. I hope you have a good third-party firewall installed, because the hackers will love to see your system online without a router in between. You don't specify how you are connecting, maybe by wireless, but you don't say what type (direct from ISP, your own router, etc.).

Don't rely on Windows firewall, you need a good third party firewall, like Comodo or Zonealarm, both with free versions.

in case you opt for to be sure your ISP person call & Password, its consistently ultimate to call up the shopper care of the ISP and that i'm questioning why are no longer asking your ISP and ask the right here. Or shop attempting jointly with your guessings !!!!!!!!!!

You will need to contact your ISP and ask them what these are. They should have been sent to you when you subscribed to them.
