antivirus system pro help?

i went to this website

i got up to step 6 but it didn't automatically start. a pop up box said Run-time error '0' in it. i then double clicked the MBAM desktop icon and the same thing happened.

what do i do?

Use the Safe Mode to install MBAM again and scan then remove from there ..

The malware has disabled MBAM.



I have had luck (sometimes) using this procedure:

Try renaming Malwarebytes to see if that works.



Right click on the shortcut of Malwarebytes > go to 'Properties' > go to 'Find Target' (for Vista, go to 'Open File Location') to take you to the very file to rename > rename it, for instance 'dwad.exe' and then double-click on it to run, not the shortcut (unless you rename it from within the shortcut itself as well).



Another method is to rename by exe extension to .bat, .com, .pif, or .scr and then double-click on it to run. For instance 'mbam.bat' and so on.
