Antivirus 2009 is an undesirable application, from the authors of Antivirus 2008. those applications have comparable to interface and "good factors". After stealth installation, Antivirus 2009 will practice tonns of pretend spywareadware detection messages and supplies to eliminate suggested threats (when you purchase commercial version). yet in actual Antivirus 2009 isn't a secret agent ware air purifier, that is basically an imitation of secret agent ware remover. Antivirus 2009 may additionally sluggish your pc and reason device blunders and crashes. eliminate Antivirus 2009 utilising handbook removing training (for progressed customers) or removing device. ---- attempt handbook removing handbook

Of course you don't need antivirus 2009 - its malware. And as it is coming through you are obviously not adequately protected. Windows Live OneCare will stop it coming through and remove it from your system to begin with. If you don't want to download the program which is free for a certain period before you have to buy it (though well worth the money £39.99 for 3 computers) you can go to their site and run their scanner for free.

The easiest way to fix it is using Malwarebyte's Anti-Malware (Turn off system restore, Download it, update it, do a full scan, and remove everything it finds).

I would also recommend the following programs to make sure that you don't get infected again in the future:

Spybot - Search & Destroy

Avira AntiVir Personal

Spyware Doctor Starter Edition

This is spyware and corrupts your anti virus programs. I have norton with BT Broadband Phoned the technical department who took two hours to disable it then two next day to unistall norton and then reinstall norton. It's a bugger and unless you know what you are doing let a pro do it.

Download and install the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-malware:

http://malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

and run a full scan.

If you don't already use Firefox, download it from http://getfirefox.com . Antivirus 2009 has been blocked as an attack site automatically to all users of Firefox 3, and will help protect you against malware. (Firefox is NOT a substitute for antimalware scanners, however, it should be used in ADDITION)

Switch off system restore - you can restart it when your system is clean.

Install update and run a full scan with http://superantispyware.com

Reboot and job done.

EDIT:

Protect yourself in the future with decent anti-virus software I'd recommend Avast Home Edition http://avast.com

Another good anti-spyware software to go along with SUPERantispyware is Spybot Search and Destroy http://safer-networking.org

While you're at it I'd also install ccleaner http://ccleaner.com Cleans cookies, removes old registry leftovers from uninstalled programs, and much more.

Avast Virus Cleaner http://www.avast.com/eng/avast-virus-cleaner.html

It might be worth scanning with all these anyway to make sure you are free of all infections.

Email me if I can be of any help.

Just download

http://www.superantispyware.com

Make sure you click for "updates" before you do a "complete" scan.

This will rid you of this pest.

I've done it myself and recommended it to plenty of others who have also removed it from their PC.
