thinkpoint virus no internet connection help!!!?

okay so someone in my house accidently accepted the think point security programme from microsoft that is actually a fake........so i learned how to bypass the programme but in order to remove it completely from my system i need access to the internet but now my computer wont pick up my wireless internet connection....iv contacted my service provider and the server si not dwn so it must be something to do with the computer any help would be greatly appreciated

Ask your friendto download the following software from -



Superantispyware Portable - http://www.superantispyware.com/portablescanner.html



To Install it on your pc just copy it on your hard drive or run through usb drive .

Its a free scanner . Run the downloaded file and choose language . Then when a big screen comes up , Click on Scan your computer and scan your computer completely .Remove whatever it finds .



Then download ,



Then if your internet connection comes back , get an antivirus (Optional)

Scan using the Antivirus as well .

Boot into safe mode with networking, by tapping F8 at startup.

Download malwarebytes (free version), update and do a quick scan, remove all selected when the scan is finished.



Then repeat with a full scan.



If you still can`t gain internet access in safe mode, you need to use another computer to download malwarebytes to a memory card/disc/external.

Insert the external into your computer, boot into safe mode to install and run malwarebytes.

For the virus problem to ensure your PC is clean an free of infection try:



Download AVG 9.0 (Free), Update it, Run full system scan.( Make sure all other antivirus are disabled to prevent conflict!)



Download Malware bytes (Free), Update it, Run full system scan.( Make sure all other antivirus are disabled to prevent conflict! even AVG!)



If it finds anything get rid of it and then reboot.



For the Wireless issue after the steps above try:

Turn your PC off. Unplug the modem & router. (Leave everything off for 2 minutes)



Then turn them back on in this order:



Modem (To establish a connection from the ISP)



After 1 minute of the modem being on, switch on the router.



After 1 minute of the router being on, Finally swicth the PC/Laptop on.

This is my scrip for removal of Virus and Malware and some things to think about before you do anything please Read first # 1 should clean most computers however there will be computer that need step #2 and real bad ones all of step #3

If you don't have internet access:

1: Your computer may be infected it need to be clean. run a full virus scan if you don't have anti-virus go to download.com and get a free one. do not by one on line you are infected and you may end up giving you credit card info out to thieves if it won't let you download an anti virus program boot your computer in safe-mode with networking (that the press F8 key when you restart your computer) I recommend a cold start shut the computer down and leave it off 30 sec. then restart and press F8 remember pick with arrows keys safe-mode with networking login to windows when it come up and go to download.com and download Spybot search & Destroy or MalwareBytes both will install in safe mode and run do the updates for it and do a full scan then go to eset.com and do their free online virus scan.

3: if all this fails then you must backup all your data to removable storage or pull your hard drive put in a new one install your operating system and your applications your anti-virus and anti-malware do all updates and put your data back (data doc,pictures music, passwords anything important on your computer) after it up and running change all
