I belong to another group in yahoo groups and as far as I am aware of, there is a security issue with grouply. And if you are in a yahoo group, we have been requested to change our email for that group if we are using grouply. Not only a security issue with you but also other people within your group. I have never used grouply so I didnt have to worry about it. I hope this helps...

As with any SPAM and possible Phishing Attacks... if you do not do business with "grouply.com" then do not respond to the email and do not click on any links in the email.

If you hold your cursor over links in the email and it points to something other than what the link says it will go to then this is a good way to tell if it is a phishing attack.

If you don't have an account with whoever is contacting you then this is a good way to tell if its a phishing attack.

If you know how to read the "full header" information then you will also be able to get a much better idea of whether the email is legitimate.

The bottom line is... even if you do have an account with whoever is contacting you.. you should NEVER click on the links and should manually go to the website address you normally go to to make any changes... and if you suspect anything you should contact them via telephone from a number you KNOW is correct.

Good Luck

Grouply is completely independent of Yahoo Groups, it's some kind of social thing for people to handle their subscriptions to multiple mailing lists. Your list is not in danger.

It sounds like somebody wants to try to control the way your group behaves on Grouply, and you are the only one who should be entitled to do that unless you are passing the baton to another member. This is probably innocent but you should sign in to Grouply and take control of it yourself.

Why were you crying? Someone is phishing to try to get control of your Yahoo group. Don't reply to that email or click on any links in it.
