My laptop wireless network adapter is not working and I was told that it is because of a firewall and/or Norton installation issue. The OS is Windows Vista. Any ideas on how I can fix this problem? Thanks!

You need to add a exception to Nortons Firewall settings to allow your network through it.
This is just my opinion, but if your not using 2009, I'd remove Norton cause the older versions are just complete crap. Avast is a free alternative. 2009 is a improvement, if you have it good. :)
