It looks you are infected by the rogue antivirus..Try to start in safe mode by clicking F8 at windows start up. Select safe mode with net working. Then install malwarebytes antimalware (free)and scan your computer.

Try these special notes, they helped me recently: 1. Restart your computer and before it launches Windows, start tapping “F8” key. Highlight “Safe Mode with Networking” with arrow keys and press ENTER. 2. Press CTRL+SHIFT+ESC to start Task Manager. Check for the processes with names of random letters and stop them. 3. Open Internet Explorer, choose Tools menu and select Internet Options. 4. Click on the Connections tab and then on the LAN Settings button. Uncheck the checkbox labeled Use a proxy server for your LAN under the Proxy Server section and press OK. 5. Download a free scanner Spyware Doctor and run a full system scan. Delete files identified as infected.

I don't think its really an antivirus. Same thing happened to me and it turned out to be some kind of really bad spyware. I had to download some antispyware and scan the computer, but I ended up reinstalling my OS. Backup anything you don't want to loose, scan your computer and get rid of anything out of the ordinary. It should buy you enough time to download some antispyware and scan the computer with that too. Prepare for the worst. It should not damage your computer, but you might have to do the same thing I did. Not saying it WILL happen, just that it might because the symptoms you are talking about are exactly the same my computer had. Hope I helped!

If you hadn't guessed already, that "anti-virus" software popup is a virus itself. DON'T BUY IT. Get a real anti-virus program (I use Advanced System Optimizer, which has a built-in anti-virus) and put the installer on a flash drive. Install it to the virused computer (no internet required) and kill that shitter.

You have a virus and it is hard to remove. You may try resetting your PC to the last back up http://www.ehow.com/how_4436099_computer-earlier-date-restore-point.html in order to get back online and then once back online, install a freeware virus software such as AVG or Avast!

You have malware which comes with a proxy server.

The proxy server is blocking your net.
