Question:
All sites have "This site may harm your computer"?

For some reason today, google has placed a "This site may harm your computer" on every single link on the world wide web. I can do any single search and it will show that warning for any page. even google.com...Anyone else have this problem or is it just me. And does anyone know how to fix it if it is just me.

Google , re-indexes from the 21st to the 30th of the month.. then reapplies to the main search boxes...

IT looks like while the reimport , or REPLACE INTO query , it would have flagged all as default ( malware=yes)..

Bad thing as people have advertisements running and all clicks will end up in googles pockets... maybe a new generation of hacks ;)

or the stopbadware.org backendd screwed up...

its not responding for me . so maybe thats it..

Thought i was going mad!, the only way i can enter the websites is by copying and pasting the url found at the bottom of the google search results. Google only puts "This site maybe harmful to your computer" when there is a threat in the websites coding??, but surely not every website in the world.

It looks like the Google Server has been hacked. It is some kind of warm. And it includes this code in every search result. Lame. Wouldn't expect that from Google.

I was standing outside my house talking with a lady who was delivering a typewriter to me when this happened.

Yay technology... j/k

I actually was trying to google the model number of my new typewriter when I first noticed this, but google doesn't have any links or pictures for my new old machine.

So, we just witnessed a database error that affected the world for a few brief minutes. Imagine a database error in the future. It could seem as innocuous as this. Or, not.

I'm from Brazil and I'm getting the same warning message on every single link on Google's search results.

It's not just you. I searched on here about that to see if it was happening to anyone else and there are a lot of questions about it. I don't know what it's all about but it's pretty ridiculous that it's on *every* link. It was even on yahoo when I googled it.

I hope someone knows what it's all about. It's probably a mistake or something.

Hello,

I'va got the same messages for every link here in France. I've tried google.com and google.fr and there's the same problem. I think this could be a major hack on the google system ! I assume we just have to wait for google to fix this...

In Firefox, I clicked on Tools, then 'Clear Private data'.

Check all boxes, then click 'clear private data now'.

My next google search after that was clear, and I'm able to have a look around for a fix...I can actually get through to the sites in my search results.

No answer here at why we have the problem but maybe its being fixed area by area (Fingers crossed)

Same here. Just started happening this morning, perhaps within the last 20 minutes (its 9:00est on Jan 31st). I'm hoping that since EVERYONE seems to be experiencing this it is not a virus or malware.

There is more here than Google. My brother and I have similar laptops on the same network. Mine is protected by NOD32 his isn't. He is having the same issue that all of you are, but google is functioning just fine on my laptop. I am NOT getting this warning.

yep happening for me as well on a mac, my wife has a pc, we tried that, same thing. looks like its being kind of fixed, some searches will now show, some won't. if you try searching same thing its fine, then a few seconds later, its not fine lol.

I tried to find out why all the sites said that and then they said that the one i wanted to visit was going to harm my computer so then i didn't go to it. I think I might go outside because like the internet is so broken right now and things like that.

every site except google.com seems to have it if you use google.com for searching.. today would be a GOOD day for us to all use some other search utility and send a message..

Its not you.... its everyone! Google's 'stopbadware.org' servers must be down - or they haven't paid the bills! I reckon: 1) stopbadware.org are down or 2) stopbadware.org and google have fallen out or 3) someones hacked stopbadware.org - brilliant! Wish I'd thought of that... Solution? I know it will be hard, but we'll have to use Microsoft live search / Yahoo until its sorted!

Hello

EgyMan and myself (croconile) have successfully hacked google today.

We disabled google services for 160 seconds, YES GOOGLE WAS DOWN, after that they restored access but we managed to get there again and leave our touch.

"This site may harm your computer."

Google sucks ,PageRank is a hoax and adsense is ****.

This proves one thing ,there is nothing such as 100% security.

Google is way too relied upon ...

Google has indexed at least 20 results for "harm your computer" ... just today >>>
