First, don't panic. There's a very good chance those are false alarms intended to get you to part with your hard-earned money.

I don't know what the others told you, so this might be redundant.

If you don't already have an anti-virus package, I've heard that AVG is a good free one. (I wouldn't know: I use Norton.) I suggest you download it if you need it, as well as Ad-Aware SE and Spybot S&D (they’re all free), install them, update them and run them in Safe Mode. Safe Mode prevents many instances of malware from loading and protecting itself against deletion of its files.

Also, turn off System Restore to evict any copies of bad stuff that might be lurking there.

To get into Safe Mode:

1. Log out and reboot your machine.

2. When the machine starts the reboot sequence, press the F8 key repeatedly.

3. Select Safe Mode from the resulting menu.

4. The machine will continue booting, but the Windows desktop will look different. You won't be able to see the Internet, for instance. You may have to log in as Administrator to delete the bad files. Administrator often has no password.

5. When you're finished, log out and reboot back into normal mode.

Update and run all of them regularly.

Good luck.

Not to sound redundant because The Phlebob wrote something similar; You could try the following.

To Remove it, follow these directions. (For everyone who likes to post a long list of sites, take a note- 1)These are real, working directions. 2) I wrote them, and use them in person. 3) I wrote, produced, and maintain one of the stinger tools which removes both adware/spyware and viruses.)

(1) Turn off System Restore (This prevents viruses that store themselves in archived restore paths from replicating) Do this by 'Right Clicking on My Computer'->'Click Properties'->'System Restore Tab'->'check the box'

(2) Run an Antivirus and A spyware/Adware remover. If you don't have one, you can download a free one from the list below.

(3) If these don't work, or there are files that cannot be removed, then Try one of the Virus/Trojan Stingers below

(4) If you still have a problem, Run Hijack this! from TrendMicro (http://www.trendsecure.com/portal/en-US/threat_analytics/hijackthis.php)

and 'Do a system scan and save a log file', then email the log file to the.bearded.amish@gmail.com and I can further advise you as well as update Joint Effort 3 to remove your infection.

(5) Make sure you turn System Restore Back on when your problem is resolved.

Your computer has a serious Smitfraud infection.

Follow the procedure here:

How to remove VirusProtectPro (Scroll down to "Automated Removal Instructions for VirusProtectPro"):

http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic98219.html

"The latest rogue anti-spyware program installed via Zlob infections is VirusProtectPro. VirusProtect Pro is installed via a type of Trojan infection called Zlob Trojans which masquerade as video or audio codecs required to view a movie or listen to a audio file. In reality, though, these Trojans instead install VirusProtectPro as well as other malware on to your computer without permission..."

A bunch of stuff was erased out mean some of windows system files and may be critical ones are erased too, you have to reinstall the OS again, it's also recommended to wipe the whole drive after backing up the necessary data that u are sure it's not infected. Good luck.

if you have good computer knowlege

first delte evrything in add/remove programs that sound fishy(most will install themselfs) if that dosent work then youll hafta reboot it from the OS disk--also just search around for random bad sounding files(only if youre good at knowing the basic system files and whatnot)

system files uasally end in .sys or .ini etc most virus's end in .exe

if you dont have good computer knowlege just tell your parents

and do this before he pays his bills itll be very easy for someone to steal his credit card info and more
