Hi,
Last few days I am facing a peculiar problem, I think this is a virus. When I am copying /moving some files from one folder to another, then I am not being able access those files. Can't open them, can't copy them, can't delete them,

I am getting a message "Cannot delete 'filename' : Access is denied", whenever I am trying to delete these files.

When I am trying to open those files with photoshop, it returns a message that the files is locked and go to properties command in windows explorer to unlock the file.

I have checked the property of those files, but got nothing locked.

Please help me, how to overcome this prob. Is it any virus ? how to remove it?

I have tried with Mcafee, AVG etc., but they could not detect this problem.

Go to http://www.infectedornot.com

There, you'll be able to try the new mega-detection tools (Panda NanoScan and Panda TotalScan) from Panda Software as part of a new promotion.

These tools are constantly updated, they have more definitions than anybody else, and they scan for all kinds of malware, not just viruses.

It's al part of the new awareness campaign called "Infected Or Not?". They let you try their new tools for free and they get to collect statistics to be used on their awareness campaign.

Try Crtl + Alt + Delete and close the process

or

run your computer in safe mode -->hit F8 during boot up and boot into safemode and run your virus scanner

else

Run Hijack This, to remove what ever is messing your computer than scan your computer a virus scanner.

By the way...you shouldn't have more than one virus scanner at a time, it could cause system problems such as corrupted files or very slow running computers.
