hey, as far as i know, this is the c drive or the drive that the os has been installed...so i the only way that i think can help is by re-installing the os, then everything will vanish..

if this isn't the main drive which has the os, open command prompt, which you can do on xp and later versions by going to run, then format :, where is the letter of the particular drive

follow the instructions, and you will be good to go

I don't know what your trying to do !

System Volume Information\_restore - means its in system restore.

Temp - means its a temp file.

I would run free Ccleaner then defrag, there are may things which can make your PC slow; removing the above won't help.

Windows, once loaded (running) can't be defragged...it's being used.

For a pre-load defragger, try this:

PageDefrag;

One of the limitations of the Windows NT/2000 defragmentation interface is that it is not possible to defragment files that are open for exclusive access. Thus, standard defragmentation programs can neither show you how fragmented your paging files or Registry hives are, nor defragment them...etc.

Freeware.

go into safe mode do a systems clean up which will delete all the history, cookies old restore files, and everything else, then do a defrag of the hard drive, don't expect to use your computer for a couple of days getting rid of all the junk is going to take forever,

it would be quicker to reinstall windows again, and start a fresh.
