ok so i was browsing the web on my limited user account and i got a pop up from Avast telling my it had blocked a trojan. then suddenly strange things started to loads up and things shut down, i panicked and held the power button for 6 seconds to turn everything off. when i turned it on again and went onto my limited user account the desktop looked normal and a few seconds later all the desktop icons and bottom bardisappearedd and a my documents window came up, i closed that and then an internet explorer window popped up and started loading something, i panicked again and did a quick shut down. I'm currently on my administrator account as that doesnt seem to have been effected. whilst im on my admin account i cant access the files on my "infected" limited user account, i get a warning and im afraid to allow access incase the virus spreads to the admin account. but i really need my important files from my limited account to back up incase the worst happens and i lose everything. please help.

you made big mistake by pushing the power button. the infection becomes very severe if you do that. Once computer is infected, let it stay on because if you turn it on after it will not boot. once infection reaches the computer, simply do an antivirus scan.
