Computer virus named MS RPC Network DDE BO?

I just downloaded and installed the Norton Anti-Virus 2009 Trial Version and when I started a scan, they claimed to have detected a virus called MS RPC Network DDE BO and said that this thing is try to attack my computer! They even have its IP address and its traffic description. They said its severity is HIGH. It is coming from a file called svchost.exe from WINDOWS/SYSTEM32. Is any of this true? Please help.

Its not your computer. You have a virus computer on the network probably infected with the Conficker worm.



Find the computer, since you know the IP and clean it up.



It also means that your computer is not patched Up. Run Windows Updates install the latest service pack etc.

It probably is. MS RPC Network DDE BO is a real threat.

After all, Norton is not like the scammer AntiVirus programs like the ones you see popped up from certain websites or web pages.

You should download other software to confirm.
