Has anyone else got this red alert message whilst trying to access Yahoo? Seems even if I change my web browser Firefox still tells me there is a danger on Yahoo? Google seems to be fine, so what's next to get rid, are Yahoo aware of it, and trying to resolve the problem??

When I installed AVG free anti-virus today I couldn't access Y!A through google, it only let me get to it through yahoo search bar,on my firefox browser, it was saying that Y!A was a malicious site. I deleted all my google cookies, it didn't work so I deleted all cookies annd history on my laptop and that seemed to correct things. My antivirus was out of date and when I updated that the problem was solved, now it says Y!A is safe.

Delete cookies and make sure antivirus is updated. That helped me anyway.

No yet you probably did no longer point out the call of your anti-virus software you're utilising and if in certainty the alert is coming from it yet none the fewer you need to test for infections with each risk-free practices software you have or could ought to purchase or get carry of a few unfastened classes. The microsoft malicious utility eliminating device from microsoft is extremely stable to get rid of a few stuff however the extra classes you test your pc with the extra suitable as long as they run properly collectively.

To clean your PC of malware. After installing and updating, run a full scan in safe mode with the following three.

1) First install, update and run "Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware" Free Edition

http://www.malwarebytes.org/mbam.php

2) Second install, update and run "SUPERAntiSpyware" Free Edition

http://www.superantispyware.com/superantispywarefreevspro.html

3) Then run a full scan with your antivirus.

Avira free or Avast free, and Microsoft Essentials are three excellent antivirus programs. If you use AVG free version this is not acceptable as it does not remove Rootkits.

Redirects are often caused by browser add-ons or redirects installed in your hosts file.

If your web pages are still being redirected. Start your browser without add-ons.

IE8: Start> Accessories > System Tools > Start IE without add-ons

Firefox: Start> Mozilla Firefox > Start Firefox without add-ons.

If the redirects stop or are reduced you will need to disable all the add-ons then enable them one by one till you find the one(s) that are redirecting the web pages and then delete them.

If it is still being redirected in the following order:

1) Clear Your Hosts File to Help Prevent Web Page Redirection
